Aldine ISD Chooses Ramtech’s Modular Buildings During Cafeteria Renovations
Ramtech has continued to build on its success in the public school sector by securing a new $1.9 million contract to provide four new modular cafeteria buildings to the Aldine Independent School District in Houston, Texas. Totaling 41,216 square feet, two modular buildings will be installed at both Nimitz and MacArthur High Schools for use as interim facilities while the renovation of the existing cafeterias takes place. Ramtech will begin the manufacturing phase of the modular construction project prior to the end of February, and will commence the site activities at the beginning of March. We expect to complete the project by April 12th, which will give Aldine ISD ample time to prepare the facilities to begin food service to their students by May 1st. (more…)

Modular Schools for Growing School Districts

Immanuel Lutheran Gets New Permanent Modular Church Building at the Right Price
Recently, Immanuel Lutheran Church in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma decided they needed to build a new classroom facility to support the growing number of enrollment applications for their pre-kindergarten and kindergarten program. Having a tight budget, but a desire to have a truly permanent facility, Immanuel chose to work with Ramtech for a new 14 classroom modular building that cost them less than $50 per square foot and was completed in under 90 days. Modular Construction Aids KIPP in Expanding its Charter School Program
Ramtech Building Systems recently completed a new modular school building complex for charter school operator KIPP Delta in Blytheville, Arkansas. A team that included Ramtech, Stuck and Associates Architects, and Rowan Construction took just 120 days to complete a new 24,500 square foot campus that included 16 elementary school classrooms, 8 middle school classrooms, a food service-cafeteria, and an administration building. The key to the rapid completion of the project was the use of Ramtech’s modular building system which saved KIPP both time and money when compared to traditional site construction. (more…)
