Ramtech recently had the opportunity to visit and photograph the payment center that we built for Lower Rio Grande Public Water Works Authority. The 5,724 square foot facility was constructed using our slab-on-grade permanent modular construction method. The Type V-B building features an EIFS exterior and EPDM roof, with an interior that includes textured and painted walls complemented by durable LVT flooring. Split system HVAC units were installed for efficient heating and cooling in the desert environment. The design incorporates plastic laminate cabinets and solid surface countertops for a modern, functional aesthetic. The storefront entries and windows provide ample natural light and a professional appearance. The layout includes multiple payment windows in the entry area, open office spaces, private offices, boardroom area, engineering office, conference rooms, and an employee break area.
The Lower Rio Grande Public Water Works Authority currently consists of twelve water systems in five separate areas providing service to sixteen communities (15 Colonias) in southern Dona Ana County, New Mexico. The LRGPWWA’s five service areas total about 266 square miles, and provides water service to just over 5,300 connections.
