On Tuesday of this week Ramtech began the manufacturing of the 9,856 sq. ft. ‘Learning Cottage’ for Prestonwood Christian Academy North in Prosper, Texas. As the country’s fastest growing private school, the traditional modular building will add additional facility space to accommodate the school’s middle school students. The building floor plan includes eight classrooms, a multi-use commons area, administrative space for two offices and a conference room, and boys and girls’ restrooms. The exterior of the building will utilize a parapet wall design finished with HardiePanel fiber cement vertical siding to blend in with the adjacent existing structures.

Production of the eleven floors will take place until the last week of March. Ramtech’s scope of work then includes the installation of the modules; the utility point of connections; interior finish-out; and providing for the steps, ramps, and decks. Installation of the modules will take place once the sitework preparation has been completed by the school’s contractor, with the finished project targeted for completion prior to the 2022-23 academic school year.
