Ramtech Enters Two Modular Building Projects For 2014 MBI Awards of Distinction Program
Ramtech is once again set to submit multiple modular building entries into this year’s Awards of Distinction program at the annual Modular Building Institute World of Modular convention and trade show being held at the JW Marriott Hill Country Resort March 21-24 in San Antonio, Texas. Ramtech will look to add to our 18 previous Awards of Distinction winners by entering two modular construction projects in the Relocatable Modular Category where we have had a lot of previous success. Last year we won first place in the Education Over 10,000 sq. ft. category with the modular school campus we built for charter school operator KIPP Delta Public Schools in Blytheville, Arkansas. Modular Buildings in the Spotlight – Ramtech Announces YouTube Channel
Today Ramtech announced the official launch of The Modular Building Channel on YouTube. This move will further expand our Internet marketing efforts by developing a closer integration with our existing social media and other collateral marketing programs. Moving Forward While Taking a Look Back

Lean Construction Driving the Move to Modular
We have written recently about how the general construction industry is pushing for, and has moved towards a greater degree of integration with prefabrication and modular construction. Further evidence of this is contained in a new report from the McGraw-Hill construction group titled Prefabrication and Modularization: Increasing Productivity in the Construction Industry. The theme of the report is focused on the “trend to and re-emergence of prefab and modular“ through the use of BIM and green building, but the report also goes into another area of particular interest to the modular building industry, Lean Construction. MBI Helps Shape the Debate at IGCC Hearings
