Ramtech’s Modular Buildings in the News
Ramtech’s ongoing effort to promote the use of relocatable modular buildings for standard portables and multiple classroom additions and expansions got a big boost on August 8 when KXAN TV, the Austin, TX NBC affiliate featured Ramtech in the stations weekly “In-Depth Set for School” series which runs every Thursday during the six o’clock news broadcast. Ramtech’s Contribution to the Evolution of Commercial Modular Construction
When looking back at the history of commercial modular construction, an evolutionary change began to occur in the early ’80s when the industry was primarily controlled by several large modular leasing companies such as GE Modular Space, and several wholesale modular manufacturers, the largest being Cliff Industries. At that time the only successful multi-plant, direct sale manufacturer was a company called PBS. (more…)

Ramtech’s Modular Medical Buildings on Display at THT Conference in July
Ramtech will only have to go across town to Fort Worth this year when we head back over to the Texas Healthcare Trustees’ annual Healthcare Governance Conference being held on July 25-27 at the Worthington Renaissance Fort Worth Hotel. This year’s conference will feature nationally recognized speakers from around the country who will focus on some of the most significant changes affecting healthcare since Medicaid and Medicaid were originally introduced in the 1960s. Commercial Modular Construction Aids Texas Municipalities
Texas is ranked second in population growth in the United States which is putting significant stress on many municipalities. While large cities like Houston, San Antonio, and the Dallas-Fort Worth area have grown significantly, many of the smaller cities and counties have also shown considerable growth. In both of these urban and rural areas Ramtech has been a significant contributor for over 30 years in helping to facilitate their growth by providing both relocatable and permanent modular buildings. Ramtech Completes Modular Building Project for Aldine ISD
Ramtech has now completed the four new modular cafeteria buildings originally ordered in February of this year for the Houston-area Aldine Independent School District. Together totaling 41,216 square feet, two modular buildings were installed at the District’s Nimitz and MacArthur High Schools for use as interim facilities while the renovation of each school’s existing cafeterias are taking place.
