When Dillard University of New Orleans, Louisiana embarked on a multi-year plan to renovate their existing dormitory space, they needed an interim solution to accommodate their growing student population. Located in one of the many historical districts of New Orleans, LA, Dillard was founded in 1869 and is now one of the leading liberal arts colleges in the South. The modular building solution that Ramtech provided included three separate buildings totaling over 34,000 square feet. Each resident facility offers individual private rooms with bathrooms, and a common study area. The buildings were installed on an unused parking area and utilize a standard Hardie-panel exterior with ADA compliant wood steps and ramps and wall-mounted HVAC units.
