Ramtech designed and installed a training facility adjacent to an existing hangar at San Marcos Regional Airport. The L-shaped building incorporates an indented wall to clear the hangar door frame and optimize spatial efficiency. It includes five classrooms, four offices, conference room, and breakroom. The exterior features faux stone wainscot and a full-height entry feature wall for curb appeal. The installation overcame tight access using an 8,000-lb extended boom forklift and TransLift carriers, precisely setting modules on CMU block piers over a pad-on-grade foundation. Compliant with 2015 IECC, the facility uses R-30 roof/floor and R-21 wall insulation, high-efficiency Bard wall-mounted HVAC units, and a reflective 60-mil white EPDM roof for reduced energy consumption.
