The project for Texas Lutheran’s degreed nursing program includes two 2,160 square foot buildings which provide administrative office space in one facility and skilled nursing lab in the other. The two buildings were part of the first phase that will also include a third building with two classrooms and additional offices. The wood frame structure incorporates Hardie-Panel exterior siding along with a conventional mansard roof. The clear span truss design allows for a large open area in the interior which is equipped to simulate a training environment complete with hospital beds and other healthcare equipment. Both of the buildings are connected together with an extensive set of steps, ramps, and large landing area which provides room for meeting and dining tables.
